On 1st of July 2013 all three providers offer new special packages and valuable for new subscribers.

At the same time as advertisements of this service all three providers, start with 1st of July 2013, offered their customers many tariff packages and attractive bonuses. All offers are addressed to new mobile telephone customers and subscribers ported from other providers. “Orange Moldova” SA offers 2000 minutes bonus per year for new subscribers (prepaid card users) and 5000 minutes and 5000 SMS or 5000 MB and 5000 SMS for postpaid subscribers. From 15 July, “Orange Moldova” SA offers unlimited national calls, sms and internet traffic for just 80lei per month if you are a postpaid subscriber. “Moldcell” SA elaborated two tariff plans: for new users without contract - 50lei per month for unlimited in-network calls, and for new users who signed the contract – 160lei per month for unlimited off-network calls. “Moldtelecom” SA (Unite) offers packages at 159lei/month which allows unlimited national calls, unlimited internet access and 200 minutes for international calls.

According with ANRCETI information, in 10 days after mobile number portability service launch, were ported 520 numbers and first ported number was activated on 4th of July 2013. In centralized data base for number portability were registered around 2800 requests for mobile number porting. For 18 July were registered more than 5000 requests. From them around 3900 were validated for porting and around 2500 were successfully ported.

There is no officially declared statistics of ported subscribers to specific providers because the advertisements war between providers has not started yet. “Moldcell” SA informed in a press release that “number of ported subscribers to their network is 9(nine) times higher than number of ported subscribers to other networks, and number of porting requests is 11 times higher than at competitors”
